JOHN FLUEVOG SHOES
TO LAUNCH
"THE DANDY WARHOL BOOT"
North American tour dates have been confirmed for the Dandy Warhols
in support of the band's recently-released fifth album, Odditorium or Warlords
of Mars. The tour will kick off on November 14th in Seattle and conclude
with a pair of shows in the band's Portland, Oregon hometown on December
13th and 14th. A full listing of confirmed dates is below. The band is confirmed
as the musical guest on Fox's Mad TV on October 1st, where they'll perform
lead single. And John
Fluevog Shoes has announced the launch of "The Dandy Warhol Boot," to
be included in the legendary shoe company's fall line. Co-designed by John
Fluevog and the band's Courtney Taylor-Taylor, the classic-styled leather boot will
be in stores at the end of October. Named (at least partially) after the
band's infamous Portland studio headquarters, Odditorium or Warlords of Mars
finds the band venturing beyond the synthesized pop of 2003's Welcome to
the Monkey House into expansive new musical terrain, while frequently revisiting
the stripped-down sound of their earlier years.
