Eric Labaume, 53, has been named president of the Jean Paul Gaultier Group, according to a press release issued by the Paris-based couture house. Mr. Labaume comes to Gaultier after having served in similar positions at Mendes, Ines De La Fressange and Balmain. Gaultier Group chose Labaume for the variety and quality of his experience in the luxury sector, notably in production and distribution.
