May 15, 2007 - Even as a preliminary inquest found that Isabella Blow died after swallowing weed killer, a large scale funeral service was held on Tuesday in Gloucester Cathedral the likes of which will not soon be forgotten. Among those attending were Alexander McQueen, Anthony Price, André Leon Talley, Hamish Bowles and Rupert Everett. Philip Treacy, longtime friend of Blow, created a three tiered ornament for her coffin, a black galleon adorned with streamers - black velvet cloth covered with flowers, a carpet of lilies and one of her favorite hats. Separately, Treacy built a bust of Blow, again topped by one of her favorite hats.

Isabella Blow, famed Fashionista and friend to designers, had struggled with depression over the years and had attempted suicide on several occasions. A full inquest will be held in October.
