Eric Labaume resigned as President of Jean Paul Gaultier Couture the beginning of July after overseeing the restructuring of the company. During his two-year tenure, Gaultier Group returned to financial equilibrium, but the improved balance-sheet came at the price of 31 French employees who lost their jobs. No permanent successor to Labaume has been named, and the interim post is currently being filled by Christophe Caillaud.
