Alice Ritter
UPS designer Alice Ritter is French born but cut her fashion teeth in
Brooklyn where she made her start selling her trendy clothes with young
Gallic flair. Ritter’s swing coats and silk charmeuse dresses looked
straight out of Saint-Germain-des-Prés. This was a collection for the very
young, by the very young. We saw the venerable Susan Foslien of her namesake
San Francisco and Burlingame, California stores Susan, rushing backstage
