Costello Tagilapietra
Known as "the jersey boys" the team of Jeffrey Costello and Robert
Tagliapietra is actually two men from Brooklyn who make slim and elegant
draped jersey knit gowns. Their look is simple –generally unembellished
evening dresses with a natural, modern flow. However, the standout was a
burgundy short sleeved cocktail dress with the New York look of the moment, a
gold beaded "collar". I saw this touch at several shows. No accessories are
needed when the jewelry comes attached. Among the fans in the audience were
Jessica Joffe, this season's face of Banana Republic and writer at Glamour.
