Reem Acra
Designer Reem Acra has been turning out high end wedding gowns for clients
such as Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue for many seasons. Her ready to
wear collection reflects a love of luxurious details such as beading and
appliqué. The most modern shapes looked the most desirable, notably the
trapeze, which looked fresh and very couture in a knee grazing dress with a
generous “garden of Eden” border at the hem. Top models such as Lily Cole
strode the catwalk, and top retailers sat in the front rows, giving the show
a glamorous aura that the clothes projected.
