Missoni
It is especially hard to keep a print brand fresh season after
season. Confined to trademark zigzag prints and swirling ribbons of color,
Angela Missoni needs to think hard to refresh and update her namesake label’s
heritage. This season the contemporary touches required to attract younger
audiences to Missoni came in the form of soft pastels, fluid shapes,
interesting prints and camouflage. But ultimately the show revolved around
soft knits draped over the body in luxurious folds. In other words, the queen
of knit-n-purl once again stuck to her knitting.
