Gucci

Since Tom Ford took a bow Gucci has been struggling to nail down a
distinct identity. With Alessandra Faccinetti gone, Frida Giannini – a former
accessories designer – is trying to guide the brand back to its place at the
top. Unfortunately, her efforts to resuscitate the label may be in vain.

company continues to ride on the coattails of its stellar days back when Ford
redefined smoldering sexappeal. But don’t be surprised if there is yet
another change in the Gucci vanguard.
