There is something to be said about trickle up fashion. The proliferation of colossal platforms among London’s youth has finally collided with the catwalk. Add to soaring heights an obsession with the contours of the body and you have a glimpse of Sinha Stanik’s Spring 2007 collection. These abbreviated boleros, zipper trimmed skirts and skin tight minis are an interpretation of the street fashions trough a high fashion lens. But at the end of the day Fiona Sinha and Alexsandar Stanik really shine when they don’t try so hard. A white form fitting iridescent cream dress with diamond shaped cut-outs was effortlessly stunning. The rest we could do without.
