Gareth Pugh
Following up on his larger-than-life harlequins act Pugh has effectively upped the ante with latex masked aliens from outer space. Perched atop impossibly high platforms, these androgynous creatures drift across alternate universes. Their architectural black, white, and silver vinyl "costumes" channel mind bending Dave McKean films like Labyrinth and Mirrormask. The overtly theatrical essence of these highly imaginative attires makes one wonder as to why Pugh insists on using the runway to display his creations.
