At Aquascutum, a mustard-yellow plastic cape was about as spicy as it got. Otherwise, the bland collection was piqued with fanciful button filigree, clusters of knit fringe, or pleated appliqué, which streamed down the front of one spaghetti strap dress to create a weight imbalance.
