Alexander McQueen will be honored by the San Francisco Academy of Art University in San Francisco. McQueen has been confirmed to attend the school’s undergraduate fashion show on May 24, at which time he, along with San Francisco-based retailer Wilkes Bashford, Robert Mettler, chairman and CEO of Macy's West, and Christophe Girard, the director of fashion strategy at LVMH and deputy mayor of Paris, will be officially honored as the "Men of Fashion." The event will also celebrate Gladys Perint Palmer's 'First Decade' as executive director of the School of Fashion & Merchandising.
