A romantic spell is cast by three of the current artists represented at Red Gate Gallery in Beijing. Han Qing’s watery and rosy oil landscapes take us on an unfamiliar highway. Tan Ping, one of our favorite artists, demonstrates anti-gravity with floating woodblock imagery. And Chen Qingqing poignantly reminds us of China’s magnificent fashion history.
