The beautiful Palais Royal is the setting for the newest shopping delight in Paris. Armand and Martine Hadida are the force behind this 200 square meter design space that link, as the couple say, "different elements together to create a story that reflect oneself, both inwardly and outwardly." The two have assembled different artists and artisans from all over the world, and the treasures displayed within L'Eclaireur are breathtaking.

An exclusive range from the Milan designer Piero Fornasetti, with pieces from the 1950s to the 1970s can be found here, with a special emphasis on the collection Themes and Variations, comprised of platters and tea sets. Robert Wan's exclusive to L'Eclaireur baroque black pearl necklaces, bracelets, rings and earrings are also here, and Robert Wan is now creating a line of cosmetics based on mother-of-pearl. The company San Lorenzo is represented with silver from among other designers, Tobia and Afra Scarpa and Sotsass. Original ceramics from the artist Sylvie Saint-André Perrin bring vivid color to the collections. Her plates and bowls are fashioned by a craft of wind-blown glazes in a variety of tones. She has exclusive Saké glasses here as well.

The label DOSA is Christina Kim's, a Korean artist, who brings her love of recycling silks and cashmere to make garments that are timeless and comfortable. She has a line of interior decoration that includes wardrobes, rugs and cushion, all of which owe something to her Korean background. Monica Sarti, a fabrics specialist, has redeveloped the business first begun by her grandfather. From this artist you may find silk and cashmere scarves, hats and shawls. Finally, the rings of Barbara Harris, presented like sushi on small trays, are small universes of individuality.

It is fabulous shopping all around, if beauty and unique pieces are what you desire.
