Medicom Toys Creates “Life Entertainment” Line

For the legion of hipster toy enthusiasts, Japanese toy company Medicom is the go-to for the latest and greatest limited editions items and figures. Creator of the coveted Bearbrick and Kubrick toys (among other cutesy and edgy series), Medicom has recently branched out into the lifestyles sector. With its selection of patterned textiles, known as Fabrick, created by well-known artists and designers such as Geneviéve Gauckler, Alife, Adapter, Will Sweeney and Logan Hicks, Medicom has created a playful and interesting collection of bags, pillows, dolls, housewares and even furniture. Although the site is mostly in Japanese, you can request overseas pricing for any item—there is enough English on the site to make it easy to navigate and English-speaking customer service you can email for assistance. Fabrick items can also be found in boutiques and galleries around the country. As always with Medicom products, you are sure to find something to accent your home or your outfit that is bound to elicit the “Where did you get that?” line we all crave to hear. Happy shopping!
