Attus Apparel

Fashionlines received an email from a guy named Whit who has started up a genuine made in the USA shirt company. Attus Apparel focuses on men’s polo shirts made from 100% pique cotton and have 6 interesting logos—the Hesher (tribute to big hair eighties bands), the Sid (tribute to punk), the Jerk (“cause some guys don’t give a F&*#”), the Shredder (“we’re all about board sports”), the 40 (“the most economical way to get the party started”), and the Hangover (“a means to an end”). You can also order a sabotage sticker. Whit says his company will have more products soon.

Christian Lacroix's Children's Toys

British home decor and furnishings store Habitat has enlisted the help of some celebrities and designers to create innovative and playful products for children. The Very Important Products (VIP) for Kids line includes items like a vanity table by fashion model Sophie Dahl, a moon lamp by astronaut Buzz Aldrin, and a “secret box” by actress Kate Winslet. What most caught my eye were the patchwork toys designed by Christian Lacroix. He says, “I’ve really enjoyed designing these kind-hearted monsters, who can turn any sorrow, surffering or secrets one entrusts to them into a smile.” Now chic little children can enjoy the work of Mr. Lacroix too.

Yellow is the New Kelly Green!

Fashion, like spring is just bursting out all over, and Fashionlines favors constant fashion change in order to keep up with nature. This week we favor yellow, like this citrus patent corset belt from Luxury Divas. It’s also elastic, so it will give you the hourglass shape you want without sacrificing your comfort. It’s also an amazing price ($15.99).
