Wilshire Beauty
, located in a 1935 Art Deco Streamline Moderne building on Los Angeles’ famed Miracle Mile, is the latest Mecca for the both professional makeup artists and committed beauty customers. For starters, the building features multiple deco elements including geometric forms, recessed areas and decorative banding. A series of flat curved planed leads up to the commanding vertical tower, which tops the structure. The building was originally constructed to house the Sontag Drug Company, one of Los Angeles’ earliest self-service style drug stores. Sontag broke the traditional pharmacy formula of the time by allowing customers to make selections on their own while giving a high level of service.

Wilshire Beauty now includes a spa and a salon. All classic spa treatments such as waxing and massages are available. Estheticians will perform complementary Murad Mini-Facials to customers in the makeup lounge. Complementary Green Tea Extract is also served to customers. Complimentary cosmetic makeovers and flat iron demonstrations are performed every day. A specialized Osmotics Cosmecuticals esthetician offers light therapy facials with a purchase of any Osmotic product valued at $125. Ojon 100% Palm Nut Oil Deep Hair Conditioning Treatments are offered to customers who purchase Ojon Hair Restorative Treatment products.

The best and the latest beauty products are sold at Wilshire Beauty, too many to name, but just to list a few: Aveda, Kerastase, Phyto, Phillip B., Rene Furterer, Paul Brown Hawaii, Amino-Genesis, Dermalogica, Peter Thomas Roth, Barielle, China Glaze, Zoya, Bambini Soul, California Baby, Get Fresh, The Thymes, Bare Essentuals, Sparkle Babe, African Pride, Heavy Duty and Jack Black.

Wilshire Beauty has got it right---these days, customers want service when they buy their products, and they want a huge array of the latest and best cosmetics. Fill a historical Deco building with great products and great service, and you have a winning formula.
