Blumarine
Written by Sedef Kokcuoglu

Blumarine girls effervescent and bouncy in silk chiffon puffy skirts, abbreviated jackets, and big buckle belts will be popping up on the grid in the most unexpected places. The "power hungry, ice queen clad in head to black, backstabbing her way to the top" look is so 90’s. Bring on the bold prints and floral patterns doused in embroidery, glitter, fringes, crystal beads and tulle. It is all about the bourgeois hippie look that is some what bohemian, but not really. Today is the day to slip into a vivacious knee length chiffon dress, arresting with its fluid skirts made from aqua colored fabric sprayed with tiny flowers, intricately beaded bodice, and bauble encrusted girdle. Elaborate ostentation, showy flamboyance and lavish splendor are the key to turning heads this season.
