LA Spring 2005
Iron
IRON BUTTERFLY
By Sedef Kokcuoglu

LA, October 25 - ‘Pumping Iron’ is tres chic! Imagine incredibly form fitting jerseys in vibrant hues defined by a rock & roll sensibility and you have Lejay’s Spring/Summer collection for Iron.

Using texture and color to optimize the play of light along the curves of the body, Lejay creates supple pieces that become one with the body. His cave print drape back tops, tangerine crowl neck dresses, lava blue pattern twist back jumpsuits, and pistachio halters glide around the female silhouette creating a raw look subtly tamed by a modern edge.

Lejay decrees that essence of Iron creations takes flight from the elements in nature, but the only jungle these clothes will be worn in is the urban one. Expect to see the designer’s slinky little numbers in NYC and LA hotspots this summer.
