A tragic car crash in Paris shattered Lloyd Klein's cheek, chin, nose and 14 teeth. However, being a man of resolve and determination, Klein made a speedy recovery and reemerged in Los Angeles, not only with a beautifully restructured face, but also a stunning collection that kicked off Mercedes-Benz

Fashion Week. Before the show Klein declared, "Simplicity is chic. Naturalness is requested. Quality is essential. Luxury is a must. Creativity is free." Taking root from this post modern approach to style, the man of the moment dressed his Amazonian vixens in animal prints and adorned them with tribal accessories that communicated intense sex appeal. Lloyd Klein's terra colors, beige-browns and lightning purples in metallic and satiny fabrics, cut and constructed to glide around the curves are conceived for wild women roaming urban jungles. The designer's muse, a "wild African woman in New York" knows how to dress for the moment.

Much like a chameleon she pairs her grey cashmere jacket with a pair of couture Massai jeans for the day and midnight liquid onyx jeweled pants for the evening. She is "glam girl playing a boy"-- bold and powerful without regrets. She has a passion for masculine attires, but she uses devastatingly striking pieces such as corsets or tulle skirts to soften her strong, athletic silhouette.

Fashionlines' favorites ala Klein are; optic white leather riding jackets, leopard trenches lined in electric colors and jungle green satin pieces. Nevertheless if you wish to go all out and stun your audience, opt for a dramatic panther and white fox coat.
