By Christine Suppes

German born Heike Jarick worked for in Milan for among others, Trussardi and Krizia before coming to New York to work for Anne Klein and Searle. She brings her European and New York sensibilities to this collection, which featured vibrant mohair coats and beautifully tailored suits.

There was a running equestrian theme in the fit of the jackets and pants-a kind of glorification of country living, where mohair is casually thrown over jodhpurs for a casual walk in the woods. Evening wear less clearly represented, with runway images all over the map from lacy femme fatale to bondage queen. But surely there was something for everyone in this well made and elegant collection.
