Zucca's Men in Skirts

Just minutes after the androgynous Chanel show ended, Zucca's artistic director, Akira Onozuka, sent out a collection that featured a crimson blazer, black pants, and skirt layered over the top. But that combination was actually for the boys. The girls were wearing tight black skirts with various combinations of layered tops or ingenious dresses sewn of layers of chiffon tiles. Later on came psychedelic paisley prints and plaids, jackets strewn with silver studs, plus any number of other fresh looks. Everything worked out, which is the key to both cool dressing and hot earnings projections.
