The design duo from Italy presented their first couture collection in Paris last summer which Fashionlines described as "over the top". Since then, the Italian couple has reined in their wild imaginations and focused and on dresses all of which were in pales shades of ivory, cream, yellow, soft green, often short and ephemeral. The word gossamer came very much to mind, whether the dress was cut from Battenburg lace or dripping with crystals. Grimaldi Giardino showed a very light and couture collection for spring, one that will keep the critics quiet but might disappoint those who came in looking for a fashion side show.
