Fashionlines has been watching this young French designer grow and mature over the past few years. To be invited to participate as a guest in the Haute Couture Calendar is no small feat--in fact is becoming more difficult for lesser known designers each season. Mr. Francois worked with a simple color palette--black, white and red. His models were spring garden spirits, dressed in ruffled and neckline plunging gowns, always with a little theater and wit. Ivy encircled the hair, and it is easy to imagine that these elfin sylphs could have easily frolicked in A Mid Summer Night's Dream.
