Futuristic Traveler

PARIS, July 8 - This season, the visionary design trio carried further their concept of the futuristic traveler. The models wore hats fitted with microphones, to send and receive messages. Riots of color were abundant---a fabulous orange fur bustier stood out, topping a multi colored skirt. A pink and blue reversible ermine coat woven in a chevron pattern with strips of pink silk was cozy yet breathtaking.
There is so much to see in this collection, so much to understand about new ways to use fur and other fabrics, that one loses track of the innovation. However, when a sharper look at each garment is taken, the beauty, the meticulous workmanship, and the new vision of Haute Couture can shine through.
Didier Grumbach, the President of the Federation Francaise de la Couture thanked the designers after the show, citing the debt of gratitude Haute Couture owes these innovative artists.
