Rebecca Rich says that her "collection is about a woman coming of age, ready to begin a sophisticated wardrobe without sacrificing sexiness or youthfulness. It is a collection for a woman who is sexy, without being naked or vulnerable, and though, but very feminine." I agree. Rich's work's long lean silhouette, attention to detail (buckles and belts) thin athletic lines sets her collection apart.

For instance the wine chiffon long empire waist back zip dress, with triple bottom panel detail, navy habotai lining, nickel buckle and detail at waist was a triumph for casual confidence with a sexy twist. Rich does not bare it all. Instead she layers cascades of luxurious fabrics exuberant with grown up appeal on and around the curves. Then as the sateen, chiffon or velvet of her outfits swishes and moves in harmony with the body, one is left with longing for more.
