THIS MONTH:
PARIS Spring 2004

Utilizing couture elements like tulle, feathers, crystals, tartan wool, organza and lace, Mr. Millet has once again come up with a fresh and young collection, emphasizing both classicism and playfulness. The day look is sporty and Scottish. The audience adored the oversized Tartan shawl in diagonal drape under the classic wool pantsuit. For the check lover, this was the definitive collection, and a kiss from a Frenchman to "les Anglo-Saxons." Thank you for the acknowledgement, Mr. Millet. Nighttime brought the glamour of feather hoods in striking fiery orange, delicate chiffon gowns with embroidered jackets, even a satin parka over a lace dress. Charm was the key word here.
