Like Heike Jarick and Nony Tochterman of Petro Zillia, this season David Rodriguez, conceived an imaginary muse to inspire his work. Rodriguez's siren, Fabiola, is a Brazilian heiress straight out of the pages of a Truman Capote novel. "Fabiola is flirty, feminine…Fabiola is fabulous." Rodriguez's Spring 2004 collection is structured upon the concept of Fabiola's wardrobe. Marine bias pinstripe suits, white silk cavalier blouses, lambskin blazers and spring bouquet dresses are some of the glamorously exquisite pieces that the designer envisaged for his his bella. Indeed Rodriguez's versatile, elegant and graceful clothes are made for trendsetting, chic women jetting around the world.
