Joey and T's show for Spring 2004 was a flamboyant, loud and irreverent spectacle. Opting to get celebrity children (Nicole Ritchie, Mia Tyler, Kimberly Stewart) as well as actress Taryn Manning to model, the designers of Joey and T enunciated their taste for media savvy, ostentatious and loud presentation. As for the clothes: despite their extremely vociferous and raunchy nature, they took a backseat to stunts such as chest bearing and crotch showing. Pink hooded motorcycle jackets adorned with British, Italian and Brazilian flags, tiny fuchsia midriff bearing tube tops, white leather spray painted asymmetrical skirts complete with detachable zipper front panels all screamed: overstated tasteless excess. However let's not forget this is LA and in the City of Angels publicity-good or bad-is always welcome.
