Cantu & Castillo's Spring 2004 collection had a retro-romantic flare. The models, with their smoldering eyes, glamorous clothes and Harry Winston Jewels, looked as if they had just walked out of the widescreen of a movie classic, starring Humphrey Bogart. Dreamy lace wedding gowns, streamlined coats embellished with feathers, raw silk bell dresses, all resonated with the vintage nostalgia of an enchanted past. Luxurious fabrics, bold colors and precise cuts defined a graceful yet daring Cantu & Castillo woman. A citrine green tango drape dress and a moss green mini taupe Moto jacket were among the most striking pieces showcased by the designers.
For those willing to exude an aura of simmering confidence accompanied by a wicked sense of style Fashionlines recommends the red chiffon beaded top dress by Cantu & Castillo. However if seduction is not your forte, the lilac print coat is just right for a delicately graceful effect.
