Before showcasing her 2004 Spring collection Renée Bardot announced "Don't mess with Renée Bardot. She gives the baddest fashion show, and if you don't treat her nice, she'll put you on ice." Similar to her pre-show proclamation Bardot's work was infused with a lighthearted, fun loving, young and nonchalant spirit. As Watergate tapes and Vietnam news coverage filled the ears of an awed crowd, pimp-like handlers decked out in feather boas and faux fur coats ushered models to the pedestals upon which they showcased the designer's creations. Fashionlines' favorites from this colorful and exciting collection are a multihued asymmetrical floral print dress embellished with chiffon frills, a drop-waist little number adorned with intricate beadwork and a pair of skinny satin pants that flare at the bottom. Hence if you intend to have some unadulterated fun in style, slip into a pair of red hot stilettos and clothes alla Bardot.
