Not as young as the other two, but still young by 7th avenue standards- Behnaz is making a name for herself with her couture- like cuts and attention to detail.
This season, she showed more skin, and shorter lengths, than in her last season, and the collection was infused with a 60’s edge. She opened with intricately cut black and white short dresses with batwing sleeves (some resembled strait- jackets), but then went on to reference Courreges with a group of white and navy belted coats over pants, and white mini shifts belted with large gold disc belts.
But by far, the standout group were the cotton canvas jeans and short dresses hand painted with bright sunburst patterns- I especially loved the handkerchief hem v neck dress with bell sleeves.
