I regard this designer as one of my best “discoveries” of the season. Normand is making couture quality pieces—jackets, skirts and blouses that brim with hand craftsmanship and individual details—like the vintage silver “foil” the designer bought from a retiring hat maker he uses to trim a short jacket. His work is youthful but accomplished and I hope to see more of this designer in the next few seasons.
